I bought the first one on PC to see what all the hype was about. Despite it not being my sort of game (especially on a controller, you might as well have sewn my hands on back to front for all my skill with one) I did play it for 20+ hours. Then I got to a point where I just wasn't really enjoying it any longer and felt my curiosity had been sated.

It's good and I can see why people love it, but that kind of attritional gameplay, of death after death after death and each time progressing a smidgeon further, isn't my cup of tea really.
My face is tired.

Likewise. I bought and bounced off Demons Souls multiple times, done the same with Bloodbourne.

I want these games to be for me, but sadly they're not.

Blimey that is some outlay - how have you spent so much? Assume you have made system upgrades or bought a console to play one, or is there more to the story? :)
