I've been all the way through. I think the best description is Dragonfall's cousin who takes life less seriously. And has a few small improvements thrown into various bits.

Nice, might save it for Christmas. If it's anywhere as good as Dragonfall I'll be happy.

Starting to get into this now, on my first mission after the opening sequence. I like the turnbased combat and the dialogue so far. Has a nice feel to it.

It's cracking aye, but I do wish for some extra environmental interaction, like the ability to "look at" most things with perception checks and the ability to pick up a lot more stuff and "use" that stuff on things and in conversations. Maybe a grid inventory too. It's all down to budget/time/artistic vision I know but I do think that stuff would raise this already great game to "classic".

Yep, really quite enjoying this. I think it's what I needed - it's really focused and doesn't drag at all.

I love massive open-world games more than anyone (can't freaking wait for FO4) but sometimes you need something smaller and more precise to quickly get you hooked. So I don't mind the lack of interactivity/extra exploration at all.

Finished Dragonfall yesterday, a rather nice little game.

Decent story - while the writing was good (the dialogue especially), I couldn't always invest totally in the way it was being told. There were a lot of instances of the game telling me what was happening. Kinda just felt like being a passenger at times, all a bit fluffy and forgettable. But I get that it's Shadowrun's thing.

The turnbased combat was excellent. Very well implemented. My mind is full of ways they could have expanded that and really opened the world up more, but alas there are limits obviously to the way the game was developed/funded.

Overall, it was a pretty tasty morsel to play with before moving onto bigger and better games I think. Glad I played it; it's nice to have something small to blast through quickly sometimes. 7/10

Yeah, that's probably fair. I'll shout praises for the series from the rooftops, but part of that is because I love the Shadowrun setting and Harebrained Studios has completely nailed it. Which should happen when you're a game developer founded in part by one of Shadowrun's major creators.
