Just seen the entire trilogy is available at the moment on Origin for £20 (thanks MM).

That's just brilliant value for anyone who hasn't played it yet, or even played the first but not the sequels.

As for the DLC, have played Leviathan now, thought it added some good story elements, some good setpiece battles, a little light investigation and a decent length (2-3 hours probably), would give it 7/10.

Midway through Omega at the moment, seems pretty good so far.

Citadel was a lot of fun. It's basically a succession of self-aware in-jokes so anyone indifferent to the characters need not apply. But as a light-hearted and funny send off to the series it really worked. You could tell the writers enjoyed themselves making it.

About halfway through Citadel, for fans of the series I would say it's a must-buy, more so than Leviathan or Omega (which was still good).

How this series could have gone.

I have to say, even in a loosely fleshed out form, that sounds way better than the deus ex machina Hollywood bullshit we ended up with in the final game. Disappointed.

In true ME style, that article ended abruptly. Even the Revan-a-like story is better than the one we got.

So, does anyone here know where abouts you can go to retrieve DLC that you've already paid for? I used to play with a boxed edition that came with a couple of extra quest lines and the Zaeed character, then I bought Lair of the Shadow Broker from somewhere. I want to finish off the last save I had using a version of the game I bought off Steam but this is a brand new PC and I don't have access to any of the old DLC files anymore. Trouble is that going to the Bioware site won't let me redeem my old CD keys or anything and just tries to make me repurchase everything.

Bit of a pain because it won't let me even load the save with the files missing.

I can't even remember it's been so long since I downloaded any DLC for this, but I do remember it being an utter, utter pain in the arse every time. You won't need to repurchase them though.

Found it in the end, turns out I was being redirected to the wrong page on their site.

Going back to the second game after so long is actually pretty enjoyable.

It's the best of the series, it truly is.

Shadow Broker is great DLC as well.

I think Mordin is my favourite character in this whole franchise.

Woth a watch if you have 2 hours to spare.

If anything, would explain the massive holes in the last ten mins of the game.

I've watched Angry Joe's vid on the theory and I liked everything about it, but not sure I'll watch something the same length as a feature film...
