I completed my second playthrough last night and I so wish I hadn't bothered with waiting for the cutscene at the end of the credits. I also think I may have done a few things similar to my last playthrough ie saving the Dragon and Sile. However it was nice to see things from the opposite side and was worth the second playthrough. Roll on the third game.

That was possibly the most disappointing "real" ending ever.

Made even worse by the fact that it was 1am and the credits lasted for about 25 minutes.

I think it's because the payoff isn't worth sitting through 15 minutes of credits. A guy sees his village burning and you see an army crossing the river, which was already explained in the story was happening anyway. It was a bit of a redundant cutscene that really doesn't end up saying much, if anything at all.

i agree it was irritating waiting for the credits to roll should have just been a closing scene and leave it at that.

Surely it's setting up the third game?

Yes, but they talk about how this is going to happen in the game at the end so it is hardly an informative video. Plus it's about 30 minutes of credits.

Yeah, but on the other hand, you didn't have to wait for them to finish, and those that didn't, didn't really miss out on anything critical.

I think I just got on with other stuff while they were rolling.

If they get it right, they can take all the time they need :)
